Never been to a book signing before? You may want to read my FAQs.

YAY!!!! My daughter and I are looking forward to meeting you in Santa Monica on the day Hero is released!!!!
Is there any way your going close to Ohio? I dont know if I can make it to any of the signings listed
No Ohio on this tour, Catalina. Perhaps next time…
are you going to make any appearances in maine or ontario ??
from gavin
No Maine or Ontario, Gavin:(
Will you possibly come to Seattle next year?
Kelly
I’ve visited Seattle many times in the past. I am sure I shall return:)
Soooo how can I get my hands on a”Hero for Wondla Sketchbook”?
Buuuut I live in Florida so I most likely won’t be at any of your book signings.
I saw on Facebook that there are only 2,000 copies, so I would probably freak my pants off if I managed to get one! Hahaha.
Hey Katie,
I’ll be posting about the sketchbooks very soon. They are given away at appearances (including stops on my tour) and through my website. However, I am doing an event at the Blake Library in Stuart, Florida on May 24th. I’ve updated the UPCOMING EVENTS (to the left of this post) and the post itself. Hope I see you there!
You are going to California and Arizona, but no stop over in Las Vegas?
they NEVER send me to Vegas…hmmmm…gotta look into that. Is there a store there that holds a lot of author events?
There are plenty of Barnes and Nobles here that host author events, but the one that seems to hold the most is actually in Summerlin; an outlying part of las vegas, that is still part of Vegas, but insists on having its own name. In Fact they are hosting Rodger Baum there on the 9th. You should look into it for sure!
Ack! No stop near Washington D.C.? Phooey. What a downer.
The publisher had to cut Politics & Prose at the last minute because of the judging for the Google Doodle contest…so next tour.
I wish you could come to Suwannee, Ga. I really love the book The Search for Wondla.
I hope, Hope, HOPE, that you can come to Tacoma/seatle next year!!! I loved the search for Wondla’s cliffhanger ending and can’t wait to read the next book
. And, btw are you going to make a Wondla movie? and plz if so, be there on set that way they dont make a mess of things like in the Percy Jackson movie and all the other book movie’s
Thank you for writing such amazing story’s that make you happy
p.s. i cried when muthr died
With hope to meet you some day, Tatiana N.
Thank you Tatiana,
There is some movie news here: http://diterlizzi.com/home/writer-hired-to-world-of-wondla/
Awsome Thanks!
P.s. My sister Alex is a writer and wanted to know if there would be any possiblity for you to do the cover art for her book. her blog is http://www.penning4thoughts.blogspot.com
Thanks Again, Tatiana
Hey Titiana, Thanks for thinking of me for your sister’s book. But I am so busy working on my own stories that I hardly have any spare time. Besides, her publisher will assign her cover artist:)
to bad then
sorry for the truble bye
please please please please come to brentwood PA you are my fav writer/artist please come
I read the galley for Hero months ago, without the glorious illustrations, so I will read it again after you visit Books of Wonder!
Since you seem to be somewhere in California, will you be attending the American Library Association annual conference in Anaheim? It’s right next door to Disneyland, and the conference will be hosting a mini-comic-con on the exhibits floor! (You really need to meet Ben Hatke!) All the cool kids will be there! (There will even be gaming and cosplay!)
I will not be at ALA this year, but I will be at San Diego Comic con…perhaps I’ll seeya there.
No one ever stops in Albuquerque NM. You know what would be cool a WondLa RPG and I mean an old fashion one like D&D. It would be awesome. Please make one lol or I’ll make one I can play with my friends but there would be so much missing
That would be cool, Marecelino. Hmmm….
My daughter, Emily, and I are huge fans! I was so excited to see you will be in Stuart, FL today! We are making the two hour drive from Titusville to see you at the Blake Library. We are both so excited to meet you! Hope you have some sketchbooks. Yesterday my daughter received a first place award for her book which she wrote and illustrated for the “Discovering Quality Literature” contest. I believe direct result of her exposure to great authors like you! Thanks for all your wonderful stories! It opens up the door to her imagination (and mine).
Thank you for the kind note, Rebecca. It was a pleasure meeting both you and your lovely daughter. The book was great (I love when kids tell stories). Ang and I are still laughing about it. Just keep encouraging her, you never know what might happen…
Will you be coming to the Book Nook in Brighton again. As soon as I found out the new Wondla was out ordered it. Thank you for the sketch book of The Search For Wondla,I have been copying your pictures since the book signing and my drawings are improving. I have several more of your books now and really want to get them signed. Hope you do a lot more books! Best wishes Olly.
Hey Olly,
I am sure I’ll tour the Uk again sometime soon. Right now I am resting up for a bit before I begin book 3…I hope you like where WondLa goes…
Thanks Tony, I am sure I will.
Hey Tony,
I loved A Hero For Wondla and I can’t wait for book three to come out.
P.S Thank you for writing such amazing books that inspire me so much.
