Revised ART Galleries
My web-guru, Anthony, and I have designed a new interface to view my ART quickly and as large as possible. I have added some new images, and some old favorites, and will continue to add more throughout the week…with captions to follow later on.
Also, we added the same interface to the BOOKS section, in the Drawing Board. Check it out!

Looks amazing! I’ve been following your web site for so long every change seems like a big deal to me! I think my terrible site is starting to effect me badly. Maybe you could post about effective web site creation or something?
Did I mention the Pixar/Ghibli Totoro Project I’m involved with? Please check out the site, this is really exciting- I get to be in a book with Charles Vess and William Joyce!
Here’s the site:

They’re gorgeous–I love seeing your work displayed so clearly!
I’m going to be in western MA (mainly Shutesbury) this Thurs. to Sun (17 – 20th), are you going to be making any appearances in the area? I’m a narrative illustrator and big fan, and I have plenty of your books that you could sign!
Hi David,
I just did a signing at the Eric Carle Museum last weekend(!) We’ll be down in CT this weekend visiting with family. You can always send your books and I’ll sign and return them – just include postage to get them back to you…
I can’t seem to find the arthe drawing board as silly as that may sound
Are the “fantasy” creatures real?
is it true there was these kids that wrote to you and said they believed in true fairies?
