Spiderwick Action Figs
I see that Ty’s Toy Box now has the Spiderwick Action figures available. Choose from Jared, Hogsqueal, Redcap or Mulgarath. Here’s hoping we get a Mallory, Simon and Thimbletack as well.
I am not sure if these are final toys pictured here or early prototypes. If anyone finds them, please drop a comment as to where so others can hunt them down:)

Very cool. How much did you have a hand in the design of the toys? It has got to be a neat feeling to see them in 3d. On another note, my wife brought home some Cheerios with your book inside. Again, very cool. That’s the way cereal toys should be.

Hey T, I’m taking the kids to see SC this weekend. Now that they know about these actions figures, I’ll be dragged to Toys R Us to look for them. I’ll let you know if I find them. I’m gonna take Mulgrath, pull him apart and mix him up with my Hellboy action figures, oh yeah!

Tony,
I just wanted to shoot you a message saying how much I really enjoy your art. I’ve followed along since early MTG days, and have always love looking at your art. I took the family out to see Spiderwick this weekend, and man they really brought the books to life. I bet you are just estatic with seeing your vision play out live. The effects were simply stunning. I just wanted to say good for you…It’s awesome to see such a talented person such as yourself get what you deserve.
kind regards!

Although it’s not exactly the action figures, I had to share with you that my daughter’s happy meal Thimbletack (with the flashing red light?), can reset my Comcast DVR menu and disable it’s component ouput! What a joy to try and fix that problem! I think we got us a Bogart.

I think the movie missed a lot of the book content. They could probably make a new movie based on all of the elements they left out of the one they actually made. But I think the movie was pretty good. As for the toys, haven’t seen them at mcdonald’s but you can hunt them down on the web if you search long and hard.
